Volunteering Update for the summer

Anyone who keeps an eagle eye on our website might have noticed the new ‘volunteering’ page we’ve added. We’re now running regular sessions on the second Sunday of every month. For July that means this coming Sunday, the 14th of July. The session will run from 1.30 to 4pm, to fit with bus times from Dunbar. As always children are most welcome. We should have an array of jobs from heavy to light so all levels of ability will be catered for.

For those with more flexible working arrangements we also have regular “drop in” volunteering sessions every Wednesday from 10.30am to 3pm. Wednesdays are a bit more intense as we’re busy getting the harvest in for our veg boxes so please come on down if you’re up for doing lots of harvesting and box packing.

As ever, just email us if you’re thinking of coming down so we have a good idea of numbers. Hopefully those of you who’ve been coming regularly will agree that it’s nearly always a great day spent getting closer to the land, hanging out with like-minded people and getting a bit of a masterclass in horticulture in the process.
