Growing Together.
Volunteering at TCF.
Volunteering is at the heart of what we do. Our goal is to involve everyone we can in growing vegetables. We believe it’s good for the community, for our wellbeing and for our relationship with food. It’s also how we hope to train more and more people in how to grow vegetables in a way that benefits the land and the people of East Lothian.
We run regular volunteering sessions at which anyone is welcome, and regular volunteers can become members and vote at our AGM.
Volunteering dates.
We run regular volunteering sessions on the second Sunday of every month from 1.30pm to 4pm. All ages and levels of experience are welcome, especially children, and there’s a convenient bus back to Dunbar at 4.20pm for those that want it.
We also have drop-in sessions on Wednesdays from 10.30am to 3pm, however these are more suitable for people with some gardening experience.
Upcoming dates are:
Sunday 14th July 1.30pm to 4pm
